Silver Group has confirmed that residency requirements will not be in place for students in Trinity term, with all students automatically given a blanket exemption for the whole term. This decision was taken at this stage to provide clarity for students, and to reduce administration burdens for those processing exemption requests.
Subject to Government guidance, the University and colleges hope to be able to invite students back to Oxford in time for Trinity term, with a mix of in-person and online learning in place.
If permitted, students will be strongly encouraged to return to Oxford so that they can attend in-person teaching and practical work and make the most of University and college facilities and services.
