Plans for Trinity term 2021 examinations and assessments

A number of changes will be made to examinations and assessments in Trinity term, to accommodate the extraordinary challenges of the pandemic.  Where possible assessments will be moved to online open-book exams or submissions. So that in-person exams can go ahead safely, with social-distancing in place, exams will take place over the whole of Trinity term (weeks 0-11) using several venues. This means that many in-person exams will have to take place at different times to a normal year, with some moved earlier in the term.  Detailed information has now been sent to departments. Students have been made aware via today’s Student News, and high level information has now been published on the teaching and learning page of the student coronavirus website.
