Asymptomatic testing pilot launched for staff

A  pilot project to provide COVID-19 asymptomatic testing for staff in specific areas of the University is now underway. Testing will start this week for staff who are required to work on-site in Security Services and the Bodleian Libraries, as well as in one college and academic department.

The pilot will last for three weeks, and will help the University to understand asymptomatic testing ahead of any decision about a broader rollout.

A small number of students conducting research on-site alongside members of staff in research groups will be eligible to take part in the pilot. Your department will contact you if this is the case.

Students returning to Oxford should continue to take the lateral flow device tests provided by colleges as previously communicated. The University’s Early Alert Service also continues to be operational for those with symptoms.
